Kangana Ranaut criticizes crime thriller web series Mirzapur

The crime-thriller web series Mirzapur has been making some buzz lately not for the story itself but for having the Mirzapur element associated with crime and violence.

It was earlier when Apna Dal MP from Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur district, Anupriya Patel demanded a ban for on Mirzapur 2 web series. The MP alleges that the show is propagating a violent image of the district and is spreading ethnic disharmony.

And now comes Bollywood’s undisputed queen of controversies, Kangana Ranaut critiszing the series for  glorifying criminals and termed it as Bullywood.

The reaction comes from the starlet over the news from a media starlet that a man named Tauseef, who was harassing and forcing Nikita to convert to Islam, decided to kill her after watching web series ‘Mirzapur 2’.

“This is what happens when you glorify criminals when negative and dark characters are played by good looking young men and they are shown as anti-heroes, not villains then this is the result, shame on Bullywood for causing more damage than good always,” she said in a tweet.
