Kylie Jenner tops list of Forbes 2020 highest-paid celebrities

Forbes has announced its list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities of 2020 and according to it, Kylie Jenner tops the list.

According to the publication, the world’s highest-paid celebrities earned a combined $6.1 billion before taxes and fees, a $200 million drop from 2019, amid the global pandemic that closed down stadiums and halted performances around the world.
 

Socialite, model, social media star, and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner earned $590 million. Jenner’s earrings came from selling a 51% stake ​in her cosmetics company to Coty in January. 

With a total of $170 million, second on the list is American rapper and record producer Kanye West, who is also coincidentally Kylie’s brother-in-law. Kanye West collected most of his ​earnings from his Yeezy sneakers deal with Adidas.

Roger Federer is at No. 3, with $106.3 million in income, and is the first tennis player to earn the top spot among athletes on the list. 

While soccer’s Cristiano Ronaldo is at No. 4 with $105 million. Ronaldo has become the first team player to earn $1 billion during his career. While Lionel Messi is in the fifth spot with $104M earning.

American director, actor, producer, and writer, Tyler Perry is at No. 6 with $97M. He is best known for his “Madea” franchise, which has grossed more than $660 million.

No. the 7 position goes to football player Neymar for getting $95.5M. Neymar is on a five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain through June 2022 worth $350 million in salary.

Howard Stern is at No. 8 spot, with $90M. The veteran shock jock is the world’s highest-paid radio host thanks to an eight-figure annual contract with SiriusXM.
