Lady Gaga Apologizes To Jimmy Fallon Over Awkward Online Interview

After the super awkward episode on Wednesday, where Lady Gaga absolutely refused to talk to Jimmy Fallon on his FaceTime show (due to COVID19 lockdown), the songstress had another do-over with Jimmy.

“I can’t talk right now, I’m really sorry,” she said over a FaceTime call. “Can we just move our time? … I promise I’ll do it Monday,” the singer had told Fallon, through whom she had wanted to make an important announcement as a commitment.

And as promised, Lady Gaga appeared on the show again on Monday and apologized about the ordeal.

“I’m so sorry. We weren’t quite ready yet, and I really appreciate you being so nice about it and thank you. I love you, I love your viewers and everyone at home watching. I just wish everybody well,” said Gaga on her second appearance on the show.

During the episode, Lady Gaga then announced the participants in “One World: Together At Home,” a televised event she organized with advocacy organization Global Citizen aimed at fighting the coronavirus.

Moreover, Gaga also made CEO Apple, Tim Cook donate $10 million to the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

“We spoke last night about a certain number for the donation and it was quite sizable and I just wanted to make sure we were OK on that this morning. Can I confirm you for that donation,” said Gaga to Cook, when she FaceTimed him during the show.

“You can confirm me. We’re so proud to be a part of this,” said Cook in response.
