Laraib Atta; Pakistan’s youngest visual effects artist and its pride!

Pakistan is a country that is burstling with talent. Whether its the entertainment industry or educational, we have people who are the pride of the nation. This time, we have a new discovery on the block, a wonder kid, Laraib Atta.

A young, vibrant, visual effects artists, Laraib Atta is a name who has a number of hit Hollywood films to her creative credit. Daughter of Pakistan’s legendary singer Atta Ullah Esa Khelvi who is an Internationally acclaimed artist as wellLaraib Atta has worked for some real  big Hollywood films including Mission Impossible Fallout,  X Men : Days of Future Past,  The Chronicles  of Narnia and Sweeny Todd.

Her first movie was released when she was just 19. “Before I started the course I had no idea what VFX is, it’s just I knew this magic for films” Laraib shared. ” The first time I watched Toy Story that really inspired me,” said the very talented young VFX artist.

“My parents didn’t even know what I was getting into, but they supported absolutely when I spoke to my father, my mother, they were like absolutely you have all the choice in the world, whatever you want to do, whatever career you want to pursue you can definitely go for it” shares Laraib Atta in one of her talks to media.

Laraib inspires many young Pakistani women as well.” Back then when I started I was the only girl in the course and the youngest and of course the only Pakistani. So Yeah, I don’t see a lot of Pakistanis. There are some women I’ve start to see now more women coming into this industry. The goal is to get more women. young people and more Pakistanis.” said the determined Laraib Atta.
