Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese teamed up again for ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’

Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio and director are teaming up for the upcoming film “Killers of the Flower Moon”, which is going to be the adaptation of the New York Times best-selling book by David Grann.

The story is reported to be set in 1920s Oklahoma and revolving around the Osage Nation, who were the richest people per capita in the world, after oil was discovered under their land and then they were murdered, one by one. As the death toll rose, the newly created FBI took up the case and unraveled a chilling conspiracy and one of the most monstrous crimes in American history.

Both have worked together earlier creating finest movies for cinema, this is going to be their 6th collaboration. Leonardo DiCaprio co-starred in Martin Scorsese’s 2002 historical metropolitan epic Gangs of New York, before going on to lead or co-headline Howard Hughes biopic The Aviator (2004), mafia and the police force infiltration thriller The Departed (2006), psychological thriller Shutter Island (2010) and the stock market drama The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).

DiCaprio is currently busy with the shooting of Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and meanwhile Scorsese is reported to be busy with the post-production of his Netflix mob drama “The Irishman.”
