You can now read long novels on Facebook Messenger

Its a new form of digital storytelling


With fast developing technology, there are new methods being introduced in the world of publishing and one of the latest form of digital publishing seems the one to share it on Facebook Messenger! Yes, after Wyatt and other publishing forums now you can read a book or novel on Facebook Messenger.

Recently James Patterson one of the world’s best-selling author known for his Alex Cross Series is experimenting a new digital, one of its own kind of storytelling method, he has released his latest novel on Facebook Messenger. The book titled, The Chef by James Patterson is available on Messenger and will be available in print in February 2019.

The book revolves around the murder accusations against Caleb Rooney, a police detective who runs a food truck. The short novel is formatted like a series of text messages intermixed with video, audio, photos and documents. Providing a whole new experience of digital world, the readers will be able to  interact with the novel characters through their Instagram accounts as well.
