Mahira Khan snubs the Javed Sheikh kiss controversy!

The entire event of Lux Style Awards 2018 had a smooth sailing. After the successful event, as expected a controversy stirred over, but the people involved were not expected ever.

Seemingly there was an awkward moment that got caught on camera as Mahira came on stage to receive the trophy for the Best Actress Award. She was presented the award by fellow actors Mawra Hocane and Javed Sheikh. And what ensued thereon,  spread on the social media like wildfire.

Apparently, Javed Sheikh tried to peck Mahira on the cheek for her win and Mahira unknowingly ignored the veteran actor, who was left in an awkward pose, mid stage.

And the video went viral like wildfire. Twitterati apparently didn’t like Javed Sheikh’s stance and went on to bash him for trying to take advantage of a fellow actor. Pathetic, we know. Javed Sheikh is one of the most honorable and dedicated actors the industry has come across and to blame him for such a low act, is one of the worst things that can be done.

The winner for Best Actress film, Mahira Khan, herself sent a tweet form her official account, regarding the hype created, ”I have just woken up to such silly stuff floating around. It’s good to be aware and have an opinion but for God’s sake don’t use anything and everything to make news. Javed Sheikh of all people! He is a legend and a mentor to all of us in this industry. Would vouch for him always”,

Since it was tweeted earlier that actress Mahira Khan quite literally turned her other cheek away as actor Javed Sheikh tried to kiss her at the Lux Style Awards, when she came over the stage to pick her best actress award. It seemed Mahira had to come out open and snub all the trolls, giving Sheikh Sahab a hard time over the awkward situation.
