The trailer of the Pakistani movie Azaadi, produced by Pervaiz Malik Films and directed by Imran Malik, finally released after a long wait. However, it seems, the trailer hasn’t been been able to live up to its expectations.

Starring Mommar Rana and Sonya Hussyn in the lead, Azaadi, seems inspired by the story of a freedom fighter and his struggle for Kashmir. Sonya plays a foreign journalist in love with Azad (Moammar Rana), who by the way looks a little too old for the young and vivacious lead alongside him.

Throughout the trailer, Moammar seems a mature choice for his character. In all his muscled glory, Rana’s age is seemingly getting noticed on screen now. Its become evident he cannot pull of his look with a swagger similar to that of Shaan or the evergreen Humayun Saeed.

The direction and cinematography for the film however looks good. Story, screenplay and direction has been given by Imran Malik. The upcoming film ‘Azaadi’ by ARY Films, also include star cast Marium Ansari, Ali Bilal, Erum Azam, Ali Fateh, Samama Randhawa, Waseem & Zeeshan and veteran actor Nadeem Baig. Azaadi is all set for an Eid ul Fitr.
