Naulakha-Episode 24 Review

Naulakha is a presentation of 7th Sky Entertainment and is written by Sana Shabbir and Reema Ali. It airs every Tuesday at 8:00 pm on TvOne. This drama serial has a very senior and amazing cast including Bushra Ansari, Sarwat Gilani, Behroze Sabzwari, Mirza Zain Baig, Kiran Haque, Syed Arjumand Azhar, Gul-e-Rana, Sana Askari, Fahad Mirza, Haris Waheed, and Sanam Agha. Its screenplay is written by Umera Ahmed and production by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. The story revolves around a love triangle between 3 cousins and a fight between the family’s legacy “Naulakha”.

Episode 24 starts with Anwar Ali visiting the haveli with Shafaq and Rohail to give felicitations to Shafaq and Zain on the birth of their son. On their visit to haveli, Anwar Ali suggests to move on from past and start fresh with no resentment against each other and also announces that he has bought the land for Nael.

Shafaq calls Tehreem asking her to come back to which Tehreem rudely disconnects the call. Tehreem’s friend tells her to move on from Zain as he has his own family now and there is nothing for her. She suggests that maybe Hammad likes her to which Tehreem disagrees.

Noor Jehan grew suspicions in Zain’s heart that Anwar Ali is planning something evil and he is not ready to give their share in the property. Zain reacts by forcing Akbar Ali to send his brother a legal notice.
Stressed Tehreem goes to a café with Hammad where he proposes to her. Shocked and confused with the sudden proposal, Tehreem snaps and leaves. Heartbroken by Zain’s betrayal, Tehreem thinks of their good times as a newly married couple where Zain promises her the entire world’s happiness.

Shafaq becomes superstitious as if Tehreem’s evil eye is the reason for her son’s illness and reveals to Zain that Tehreem never congratulated her and in fact, she lied to him hoping it would make things better between them.
Latest episode perfectly portrays the ugliness of family politics over meaningless things that actually prevail in society. How people prefer a few bucks and some sq. ft. of land over their own blood relations and are ready to go to any lengths to get it. It shows how a woman is always blamed for a failed marriage and is the one who suffers the most.

As the drama moves towards its end will Tehreem accept Hammad’s proposal and marry him? There is a lot of mystery yet to be solved.
