Good news for anime fans!
Netflix is developing a Scott Pilgrim anime series.
This is the latest Netflix anime project to be announced in recent years.
Netflix and UCP, the division of Universal Studio Group behind The Umbrella Academy and Chucky, are developing the brand-new adaptation.
As being reported, Creator Bryan Lee O’Malley and Ben-David Grabinski will write and executive produce the series.
In 2010, the film version was released starring Michael Cera as Scott with Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona.
Six volumes of the Scott Pilgrim series were published by Oni Press between 2004 and 2010, with the graphic novels not just becoming indie comic hits but a publishing phenomenon that broke out into the mainstream, selling millions of copies.
