Netflix’s Bard Of Blood Trailer: Can Indian filmmakers create any storyline without stereotyping Muslims and Pakistan?
The trailer of Brad Of Blood is Netflix’s latest series based upon the political espionage thriller based on “Bard of Blood,” by Bilal Siddiqi, is finally out. The seven-episode series will begin streaming on September 27.
Pakistanis, in particular, do not find the idea entertaining at all, though the series is based on a book, however, a story told on-screen has a different impact.
The series features Imran Hashmi in the lead role is produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment, whose trailer was shared by SRK a day ago, as well as by the streaming site Netflix.

The series is created by Bilal Siddiqi and Gaurav Verma and is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The primary cast of the series other than Emraan Hashmi, includes Vineet Kumar Singh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kirti Kulhari, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Rajit Kapoor.
The two-minute 30-seconds trailer kicks off with the capture of some Indian spies in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. The story line revolves around the story of an ex-RAW agent.
This series, in particular, is coming out in time amidst the tensions between India and Pakistan regarding Kashmir.
A response was shared by the spokesperson Pakistan Armed Forces, Major General Asif Ghafoor on social media.
While quoting the trailer shared by Shah Rukh Khan on twitter, Peace For Change wrote: “Stay in Bollywood syndrome @iamsrk. For reality see RAW Spy Kulbhushan Jadev, Wing Comd Abhinandan & state of 27 Feb 2019. You could rather promote peace & humanity by speaking against atrocities in IOJ&K and against Hindituva of Nazism obsessed RSS”.
