Emily in Paris made its much-anticipated return with its fourth season on August 15. However, within just a few days, it has already been overtaken on Netflix’s Top 10 US list by a new true crime documentary about the infamous Laci Peterson case, even before the weekend arrived.

The series debuted at #2, and considering how even lesser-known true crime shows often climb the charts, it’s no surprise that a series about one of the most infamous cases in U.S. history is performing so well.
Meanwhile, Matt Rife’s Lucid stand-up special has dropped to #3 and doesn’t seem to be as popular as his previous one.
A licensed series called Average Joe is at #4.
The final season of The Umbrella Academy has quickly fallen down the list, receiving such harsh criticism from fans that even someone who previously enjoyed the series.
Love is Blind UK has climbed back up to #6 with new episodes.
Meanwhile, former #1 A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has slipped to #9, and we’re still waiting to hear if the show will be renewed, though it’s still early days.
