Saudia Arabia Music Fest: Nicki Minaj, Steve Aoki, Liam Payne to headline Jeddah event

Saudi Arabia is all set to host a major music festival with many international singers to headline the event. The event is slated for July 18 at King Abdullah Sports Stadium.

Organizers of the mega music festival have revealed the first wave of international artists to take to the stage.

Rapper Nicki Minaj, musician Steve Aoki, and singer Liam Payne are to perform at Jeddah World Fest, which will be emceed by DJs R3wire and Varski and will be broadcast on TV around the globe.

This event marks as Saudi Arabia’s biggest live music festival as part of the high-profile Jeddah Season Festival.

The audience age for this event has been restricted to above 16 at the standing-only live show at King Abdullah Sports Stadium, according to organizers.

“This is the largest musical festival of its kind in the region that will be broadcast to a global audience in more than 100 countries”, said Raed Abuzinadah, the director-general Jeddah Season.

“There is a stereotype of the kingdom all over the world, and today it is disappearing. In its place is a new picture of the kingdom that accepts everyone,” he further added at a recent press conference.

“This international project is truly special for Jeddah City and for all the young people of Saudi Arabia,” said Robert Quirke, the chairman of the ROQU Media International, the event organizer.

“This is the first global music festival of this scale in KSA and is sure to absolutely wow the lucky audience in Jeddah like never before,” he added.

Reportedly, this music festival is part of the Jeddah Season of activities which falls under the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage’s (SCTH) ambitious program of seasonal entertainment for the Kingdom.
