Original maker of Maula Jatt puts forward irrational demands to The Legend Of Maula Jatt producers
The court vacated the stay order against the makers of The Legend Of Maula Jatt when the producers presented the certificates of film’s copy rights to them. An investigation earlier had been started by FIA against Bahoo Corporation for committing online defamation through cyber stalking and incitement. The court orders read that makes of The Legend of Maula Jatt had all the necessary approvals from the concerned government departments which were required for their trailer’s release.
However, despite the court order, repeated actions to jeopardize the release of The Legend Of Maula Jatt are being put forward by the makers of Maula Jatt, Sarwar Bhatti CEO of Bahoo Corporation. Recently, producer Ammara Hikmat shared how Sarwar Bhatti had put forward irrational demands infront of the producers of The Legend Of Maula Jatt.
Here’s what he asked for according to Ammara Hikmat;
I still met Mr Sarwar Bhatti to offer him a royalty OUT of regard for his contribution to the film industry (although we were not violating his cinematographic work as mentioned in the IPO document).. He made the following 4/5 demands in the presence of Mr Yousaf Salahuddin as a mediator:
1. He should be made the producer because I am too young to do justice to this project
2. He should be paid a sum of 80 or a discounted sum of 25 crore ONLY just to use the title ‘Maula Jatt’
3. His company Bahoo Corporation should distribution because it’s named after hazrat Sultan Bahoo. This was to add ‘barkat’ to our work
4. He should be given revenue share as well
5. I should produce my next film with him
These seems like rather irrational and useless demands put forward by someone of such a stature. The Legend Of Maula Jatt has created so much hype with its trailer and it seems the film is going to be big on the box office and perhaps the makers of original Maula Jatt might want a share of the film as well.
