This year’s Oscars were said to be even more suspenseful and high at stakes than usual due to ongoing protest movement #MeToo. Things went pretty smoothly for much awaited prestigious awards of the film world.

The 90th Academy Awards, Oscars, are all set for 4th March

The Shape of Water triumphed in as the Best Picture, being the final award of the Oscars night, and also picked up three other Oscars. The film Three Billboards bagged its acting trophies, Dunkirk with 3 and Blade Runner 2049 with 2 split the awards for technical categories. Roger Deakins was nominated 14 times and last night, he finally won for the best Cinematographer for Blade Runner.
