Pakistan Electronic Media Regulator Authority, PEMRA has banned the repeat telecast of ARY Digital and Hum TV drama serials “Ishqiya” and “Pyar Ke Sadqay” respectively, citing the content of the dramas against the morals of society.
The notification from the electronic media regulatory body was issued on Friday.
The ban has been imposed under Section 27 of PEMRA Ordinance.
Both the dramas will not be repeat telecast on ARY Zindagi and HUM Sitary as well.
Further more, PEMRA is also reviewing complaints filed agaisnt the ARY Digital’s ongoing drama series Jalan.
