Rishi Kapoor’s last film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ to be completed using VFX technology

Rishi Kapoor’s last Bollywood film titled ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ will be completed through the use of advanced VFX techniques according to the media reports.

As being reported, upon his return to Mumbai Rishi Kapoor had two projects lined up titled Sharmaji Namkeen and The Intern.

The production process of the film Sharmaji Namkeen had already kicked off but sadly, Rishi Kapoor passed away on 30th April 2020.

And after his death, the filmmakers have decided to complete the film by using advanced VFX technology, instead of shelving it.


And as per media reports, the production team is already discussing the entire matter with some VFX studios.

According to Honey Trehan, co-producer of the film, a major portion of the movie had been shot in Delhi and only a four-day schedule was pending.

The film also features Juhi Chawla in the lead role, who also took to social media paying her last tribute to legendary actor Rishi Kapoor.
