Sakina Samo confirms her next film starring Sheheryar Munawar, Asad Siddiqui and Humaima

Sakina Samo, veteran actor turned director just a week after being conferred with the presidential civil award Pride of Performance, confirms her next film production.
The award-winning director has roped in Sheheryar Munawar, Asad Siddiqui, and Humaima Malick for her latest venture.
Taking it to social media Sakina Samo announced the cast of her new film in a series of posts.
“By the grace of Allah, I am able to announce some details about my next film. I am so pleased to say Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui and Asad Siddiqui (not related!) are confirmed, cast members,” she captioned a photo album featuring Sheheryar Munawar and Asad Siddiqui.

In her later post, Sakina while revealing the female lead shared that she has also penned the script for the film whose story is set in interior Sindh.
“And here is our leading lady…the talented Humaima Malik. I’m humbled and proud to be directing a story set in interior Sindh. All I can say at this point is it’s a love story inspired by true events and characters. It’s a script that I’ve been mulling over for decades, finally, I’ve put pen to paper, ” Sakina wrote.

Sakina Samo’s directorial film Intezaar premiered at The 2020 Harlem International Film Festival (Hi) in New York.
The film was part of Hi’s official selections for its 15th edition that took place virtually on September 10-13, 2020.
