Sinf-e-Aahan stars the real Iron Lady Major Samia Rehman!

Major Saima serving under the Blue Helmet and wearing the Pakistani flag in a UN peacekeeping mission has already made the nation proud.

Many would have thought that the much anticipated ARY Digital and ISPR production drama includes mostly professional actors. As we already know that the popular Pakistani actress featured in the hit serial as young credits enrolled with a dream to serve in Pakistan ARMY.

The latest episode made a huge impact showing girls admitted to Pakistan Military Acadamy and also the new addition of the character of a female officer who tells rules to the girls and grills them to go by the book.

Major Rehman has served as Operational Planning Officer on UN mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Major Samia Rehman made Pakistan proud at the international stage by winning the United Nations Special Representative for Secretary-General (SRSG) Certificate of the Year for 2019.

 

For those who don’t know, a team of 15 female officers, serving at the ranks of major and captain, have been stationed in the war-torn country since June 2018.
