Sonam Kapoor defends Veere Di Wedding co-star Swara Bhaskar
Swara Bhaskar received severe backlash due to her comments regarding Pakistan. Twitter trolled her for her lack of knowledge, ignorance and also for the masturbation scene in the movie. However, her Veere Di Wedding co-star, Sonam Kapoor came to her rescue on Monday.
“I think people just like to troll her because she has an opinion and a point of view and I guess that shows how much they love her because the other side of hate is always love, so Swara you have a lot of lovers!” she said.

“My defense of her has nothing to do with her comments on Pakistan!” she further clarified.
Pakistan, however, will not be forgetting this incident! While we believe in spreading love, people on both sides of the border should be careful and refrain from making such derogatory comments.
Swara has been criticized by actors Urwa Hocane, Mehwish Hayat, Gohar Rasheed and Armeena Rana Khan among others via social media for calling Pakistan a “failing state”.
