Tariq Aslam exudes sheer power in first poster of Chaudhry Aslam’s biopic
Chaudhry Aslam; they say they make brave hearts very rare and perhaps Chaudhry Aslam was the rarest. The bravest of all cops in the history of Pakistan police, SSP Chaudhry Aslam looked danger and terror in the eye. He stood on the frontline himself, not afraid of losing his life. However, in 2014, Aslam succumbed to the attack by the Taliban and lost his life.
5 years later, filmmaker Azeem Sajjad is paying a tribute to Chaudhry Aslam with a biopic to bring across what hero Aslam was. The film stars Tariq Aslam as Chaudhry Aslam alongside Arbaz Khan, Shamoon Abbasi, Asfer Mani and also marks the debut of model Zara Abid in cinema.
The film’s first look poster was recently released and we have to say Tariq Aslam as the SSP Chaudhry exudes sheer power. Tariq Aslam is attired in the trademark white shalwar kameez Chaudhry Aslam was famous for wearing and is expressions come across as menacing.
Chaudhry- The Martyr has been directed by Azeem Sajjad and is based on a story by Neha Laaj who also happens to the producer. The film’s release date is yet to be disclosed.
