Teaser Review: Meera starrer Baaji showcases heavy duty performances

Meera Ji, is a true performer and she’s let it shown in the teaser of Saqib Malik’s Baaji. The woman, kills with her expressions and delivery in a character suited to her personality and larger than life persona.

Baaji’s teaser bring across a story of different individuals on their own journeys. There’s a superstar who is about to lose it all, her boyfriend who calls the shots, there’s a girl aspiring to make it big, perhaps a boy she’s in a relationship with and a director who is hunting for a classical face. These lives will intertwine and weave a web of glamour, deceit, jealousy, passion and perhaps revenge.

All in all, Baaji is a film that’ll bring to surface a dark side of a glamorous society and how things run behind the cameras, especially in the world of flashy superstars. The film’s background score adds to its intensity and the song we’ve heard takes us right into the glamorous world. For now, the film appears to be a genuine entertainer that’ll hit all the right notes of being not only a classy piece of direction but a cinematic winner as well.

Releasing on 28th June, Baaji stars Amna Ilyas, Osman Khalid Butt, Meera, Ali Kazmi, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Nayyar Ejaz amongst others in pivotal roles and here we are, as eager and excited to watch the Lollywood Queen back in action.
