‘Teefa in Trouble’ gets a sequel

The blockbuster film ‘Teefa in Trouble’ gets sequel announced which means the trouble making Teefa would be soon returning to the silver screen.

The confirmation comes from none other than Ali Zafar himself. The actor announced the sequel at a star-studded gathering organized by Iflix to celebrate the success of Teefa in Trouble.

While Addressing a star-studded evening organized by Iflix to celebrate the success of the film ‘Teefa in Trouble’ at Café Flo, Ali Zafar proposed filmmaker Ahsan Rahim, “Let’s do ‘Teefa in Trouble 2’,” to which Ahsan Rahim very excitedly replied, “Yes, let us do it.”

Released last year in July, ‘Teefa in Trouble’ was also the first non-Indian film that was distributed internationally by Yash Raj Films and the third Pakistani film to have crossed the Rs 50 crore mark.

Teefa in Trouble also holds the record of highest number of hits on YouTube for any Pakistani film with almost 33 million collective hits on the songs.

So the announced sequel has much higher stakes to compete with the Teefa In Trouble, as it became a trendsetter for a number of firsts in Pakistan films.

Teefa in Trouble has been nominated in the ‘Best Film’ category in the Lux Style Awards this year, meanwhile, Ali Zafar and Ahsan Rahim have been short-listed in the ‘Best Actor’ and ‘Best Director’ categories respectively.
