Story details for the upcoming film are kept under the wraps but an inside source reportedly claims that Conjuring 3 will focus on a man in the middle of a murder trial who pleas that he was possessed by a demon.

While the previous two films were based on real-life events, however, it is currently unknown if this third film will be pulled from the case files of the Warrens or will simply be pure fiction.

Various spinoff films have focused on cases tangentially connected to the duo, however, it’s been speculated that Conjuring 3 will be different than anything fans have seen before.
