It is presumed that Dr. Hasnat Khan, a British – Pakistani heart surgeon, and Diana had a secret relationship for 2 years.

Diana had described Mr. Khan as ‘Mr. Wonderful’ and by her friends the “Love of her life” and she also visited Mr. Khan in Lahore.

So it’s understood that the series features some steamy scenes of their on-screen brewing chemistry in the fifth installment of The Crown.

We might not be mentioning the episode numbers here but the first reactions from the fans have arrived:

Earlier, talking to Variety about his character, Humayun Saeed said, “Dr. Hasnat Khan and Princess Diana were total opposites. He was a very ordinary man in every way and I feel this is what attracted Princess Diana to him. His nature and simplicity made him special to Princess Diana.”

“I haven’t played a real-life character on-screen and to play the role of Dr. Hasnat Khan who everyone knows due to Princess Diana was a huge responsibility,” Humayun added.

“I am confident audiences will love the simplicity of the relationship and how it is portrayed on-screen,” he added,

Elizabeth Debicki, who plays Princess Diana in the fifth season of the Crown has been all praises for her co-star, Humayun Saeed

“I absolutely adored Humayun — he was such a lovely actor, and such a beautiful person,” she told EW in an exclusive interview.

“You never know how that’s going to feel when you’re playing things like that with an actor. So I was very lucky to have him, and I think he does such a beautiful job.”
