It is an emotional drama with deep meaning, or a madcap comedy where motivations of the characters are irrelevant. ( oyeyeah.com )
With Heer Maan Ja dropping its trailer, we’re glad to see, this Eid, we’ll be spoilt for choices when it comes to films at the cinemas. After a long while, we’re getting some good films, that’ll definitely entertain audiences. Heer Maan Ja comes off as a complete package with the right amount of action, romance, comedy and emotions. Ali Rehman Khan and Hareem Farooq’s pairing, no matter, how many times we’ve seen on the screens, is again fresh and offers something different than the last time.
The trailer brings across an interesting story. Kabeer is ambitious and driven. Heer doesn’t fit in his plans but he’ll accommodate her. Heer is outspoken, bold and very spontaneous, Kabeer’s opposite and as they say, the opposites are attracted. However, what they don’t expect is Wajdaan’s interference in their love story. Wajdaan, is fierce, conservative and very particular about his honor. He’ll kill for his honor and it seems, Heer and Kabeer are just messing with it.
All in all, Heer Maan Ja comes across as an interesting and entertaining watch, something the audience will enjoy watching on Eid. The film brings some amazing performances, especially Faizan Sheikh, who comes off as a brilliant surprise as the antagonist Wajdaan.
Directed by Azfar Jafri and produced by Imran Raza Kazmi, Arif Lakhani and Hareem Farooq, Heer Maan Ja releases on Eid ul Azha all over.
