Trevor Noah trolls Indian Army and Bollywood

Trevor Noah, the host of Daily Show, has recently mocked Indians and their army for its jingoistic rhetoric during the confrontation with Pakistan quoting Bollywood style war.

During the show’s regular round-up of headlines from around the world, Noah mentioned the tense situation between India and Pakistan following the Pulwama attack and the subsequent escalation of hostilities between the two countries.

After informing the viewers about the background of India-Pakistan rivalries, the host mocked not only the Indian army but also the Bollywood for the dance numbers that might come out of this confrontation with Pakistan.

Here is the video clip:

He said he hopes Pakistan and Indian don’t go to war. “And if they go, it would be the most entertaining war,” he said jokingly.

“Indian soldiers would run out on the battlefield and be like “time for you to dance,” Noah said while singing in an Indian accent.

For many people, it was hilarious, as the South African comedian mocked on how Indians like to shake a leg on every occasion on Bollywood songs.

But that humor could not be digested by many of the Indians. And the reactions on social media tell the rest!
