The attendees of the festival will be faced with strict measures intended to lower the risk of infection, as about every European country have experienced an increase in Covid-19 cases after lockdown restrictions lifted.
This time, the usually glamorous Venice film festival will have to follow all the COVID-19 SOPs which includes mandatory face masks, socially distanced screenings and temperature scanners are set to make the event safe.
There will be no fans for the Hollywood stars clamouring for autographs as the audience will be barred from the red carpet.
The movie festival will begin from September 2 to 12, marking Italy’s return to the art world stage after it became the first country in the West to be slammed by the virus.
