Warner Bros. has set up the release dates for many of its upcoming films, which include “The Batman” and “The Sopranos” prequel, titled “The Many Saints of Newark.”
The new shaken up release calendar was announced by the production house on Monday.
The much anticipated “The Batman,” starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Matt Reeves which was originally expected to hit cinemas on June 25, 2021, and will now be released on Oct. 1, 2021.
Meanwhile, Alan Taylor’s Sopranos prequel film, “The Many Saints of Newark” has been pushed from Sept. 25, 2020, to a new date for March 12, 2021.
Warner Bros.’s two DC superhero films also have a new release date now, “The Flash” movie has been moved forward a month, and it will open on June 2, 2022, instead of July 1.
Meanwhile, “Shazam 2” is going to hit the big screen seven months later than the scheduled date and will now open on Nov. 4, 2022, instead of April
The coronavirus pandemic has caused numerous films forced to put production on a halt.
