It seems like popular TV drama Meray Paas Tum Ho has introduced a new trend by screening its finale across major cinema houses in Pakistan as after MPTH, the makers of another trending drama Ehd e Wafa are in talks to screen its final episode in cinemas.

“We have held discussions over the matter but right now the decision is yet to be made. We will have a discussion with Momina Duraid soon who will have the final say over this,” Safie Hassan the director of the show told a local daily.

This shows that no final decision has been taken on the cinema screening of the last episode of the show yet but the team is working on making it possible.

Written by Mustafa Afridi, Ehd e Wafa revolves around friendship among four college buds. The show has managed to garner a massive following due to its rare storyline, the nostalgic vibe, and great production value.

The shooting has been wrapped up and as confirmed by the director, Ehd e Wafa will not exceed over 26 episodes.

The show is produced by Momina Duraid in collaboration with ISPR.

Last month MPTH’s much waited finale was screened in cinemas and also aired on TV. The finale spanned over a duration of an hour and a half.
