Zee5 to Launch Five Pakistani Original Dramas for its Online Streaming Platform

Alongside, the Indian streaming site is also enlisting Pakistani hits on its offered shows

Indian streaming site Zee5 is all set to launch five Pakistani original shows for its platform for which cast and makers have been finalized. Alongside, the streaming service is also enlisting some of the most popular Pakistani dramas on its offerings, which include but are not limited to Bin Roye, Diyar-E-Dil, Tum Kon Piya, Sheher-E-Zaat, Baaghi. The plan is to revive the channel’s Zindagi brand which is popular for intercultural representation and global appeal.

Among the originals, heavy weighted Dhoop Ki Deewar caught our eye first and foremost. Penned by Umera Ahmed and helmed by Haseeb Hassan, the Pakistani show will feature Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir, Manzar Sehbai, Samiya Mumtaz, Alyy Khan, Adnan Jaffer, Samina Ahmed, and Zeb Rehman.

Another drama is Mann Jogi, starring Saba Qamar, Nauman Ijaz, Agha Mustafa Hassan, Uzma Hassan, and Gul-e-Rana. The drama will be written by Saji Gul and directed by Kashif Nisar.

Then there’s Aik Jhooti Love Story, starring Bilal Abbas Khan, Madiha Imam, Kinza Razzak, Furqan Qureshi, Kiran Haq, Beo Zafar, and Mohammad Ahmad. Once again Umera Ahmed will be writing for the drama as aced director Mehreen Jabbar will helm the project.

In addition, Churails will have Yasra Rizvi, Sarwat Gilani, Nimra Bucha, Mehar Bano as leads on an Asim Abbasi written and directed project.

And lastly, Bilal Abbas Khan starrer Abdullahpur Ka Devdas will be available on the Indian steaming site. The drama will be helmed by Anjum Shahzad and scripted by Shahid Dogar. Alongside Bilal, the drama will see Sarah Khan, Nauman Ijaz, and Savera Nadeem.
