Big Celebrities to Perform at PSL Opening Ceremony
The most awaited event of the year, HBL PSL 2020 is all set to commence from Thursday, February 20 with a grand ceremony at National Stadium, Karachi.
Given the grandeur of the occasion, as many as 350 artists have come together to perform at the opening ceremony and noted celebrities will be gracing the event with their presence.
Among the performers, big names of Pakistan music industry are Abrar ul Haq, Aima Baig, Abu Mohammad, Fareed Ayaz, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sajjad Ali, Sanam Marvi and rock band Soch. Alongside, Arif Lohar, Ali Azmat, Asim Azhar and Haroon will also be performing the anthem of PSL 2020 Tayyar Hain.
“It is only befitting that a grand and glamorous opening ceremony is held to welcome Pakistan’s very own HBL PSL in the country. We have brought together all the top artists in the country to set the tone of what will be an epic tournament,” an online publication quoted PCB Director Commercial, Babar Hamid.
The opening ceremony will kick off at 6:45 p.m. PST and the toss of the first match between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. PST.
