Beyonce Flaunts Over 60 Designer Outfits in Black is King Video

Superstar Beyonce has stunned fans with her fashion choices in the latest project Black is King which launched on Disney+ last Friday. Flaunting over 60 designer outfits, Beyonce’s ensembles included numbers from Valentino, Burberry, and Schiaparelli.

“You have to be prepared. If she says, ‘I just want to shoot, I think it would be really nice in a T-shirt,’ I’m like, OK, 10 ball gowns, please. Just in case! Because more likely than not, we get there and it’s like, ‘Oh, it’s so beautiful, we need something more grand.’ And we kind of allow it to shape-shift,” fashion curator Zerina Akers told Entertainment Tonight, as she told of the suitcases she had on her all the time during the shoot.

Black is King is an 85-minute long film that brings Beyonce’s songs from Lion King: The Gift, to visual life. The star has donned 63 dresses throughout the video which also featured her eight-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

The cool thing about Blue that not a lot of people know is that a lot of times she chooses when she wants to (be involved). She may see her mother doing a shot she thinks is cool, she may be like, ‘I want to do that, can I have a turn to do that?’” Zerina said of the eight-year-old fashionista whose wardrobe had also been filled with designer choices.
