Burberry’s latest collaboration featuring naked black models fall for harsh criticism

Burberry’s series of collaborations fall for harsh criticism for featuring naked black models.

The world’s top fashion brand on its official Instagram account released a set of images from its latest collaboration set for Autumn Winter 2020. And it went so wrong on so many levels!

However, the fashion brand met with harsh online criticism as the photo feature naked black models.

“This is not art this is clearly discrimination you showing black human as objective as animals infect you yourself are stuck in inferiority complexes because black guys are best in all fields they are leading your music, acting, fashion industries even they are physically more strong than all others and now they are running real state they are big investors. You please raise your personal skills instead of this”, wrote an angry social media user over Burberry’s post.

“Are they meant to look like animals? I’ve only seen the first two photos of this campaign and it looks quite problematic. I looked at Michael’s Instagram as well and it doesn’t look much better… a lot of othering the black body, as if they are animals or objects. They are perfectly civilized human beings… but that’s not coming across at all. I understand that this is art, but what is it saying about Michael and Burberry?“, said another person ob Berberry’s post.
