Clothing brand Daaman announces permanent closer owing to pandemic

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has left many businesses to close down permanently.

Among one of them is Pakistan’s famous clothing brand Daaman which has made the announcement to shut down permanently.

Daaman’s creative director Maleeha Chaudhry posted the news on the brand’s official Facebook page.

“I am writing to you today with a heavy heart to let you know that we will be shutting down on 31st Dec 2020. Covid-19 has ravaged countries, families, and businesses alike and unfortunately, Daaman is no exception. Thank you for all the love and appreciation over the years and I hope to see you in some form and at some point in the future. Our clearance sale commences today and will continue till stock lasts”, she wrote.

According to a BBC report, a total of 81% of the global workforce of 3.3 billion people have had their workplace fully or partly closed.
