Jared Leto dressed as Karl Lagerfeld’s Cat, Choupette, steals the Met Gala 2023!
The Met Gala held on May 1, was devoted to the six-and-a-half-decade career of Karl Lagerfeld.
The gala honoured the legacy of the late iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld— who helmed fashion houses such as Chanel, Fendi, and his own eponymous line—and raise funds for The Met’s Costume Institute.
This year’s theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”
Actor Jared Leto dressed as an enormous fluffy, white, blue-eyed Burmese cat in homage to Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved pet.
Honestly, Jared Leto under the catsuit was the most logical answer to this year’s #MetGala theme.
