British-Pakistani fashion designer Omer Mansoor just received another feather in his cap as he had a successful run at the London Fashion Week.
The designs, an amalgamation of eastern and western apparel were widely appreciated by the attendees of the show, and Omer stood out among the participating designer’s lot.
“The collection was stunning. Beautiful greens, lovely material, flowing dresses, I definitely need one,” said an attendee after seeing the Pakistani designer’s collection.
Speaking of his inspiration and theme behind the collection Omer said, The purpose behind using the different hues of greens and blues in my collection is to raise awareness on climate change and shed light on the rising levels of pollution in the seas.”
The designer added, “The design element in my clothes highlights Pakistani embroidery. Pakistani fashion has its own unique charm which makes it stand out amongst the rest of the world,” as he spoke to The News.
