‘We do not sell naras’, MTJ brand clarifies the fake news

‘We do not sell and manufacture naras’, MTJ brand clarifies the fake news!

Its been a few days when the rumors started to circulate on social media that the newly launched clothing brand by famous scholar Moula Tariq Jameel is selling Naras, the thread used to hold the trouser with the waist, at a high price of nearly Rs 550 per piece.

However, an official statement was issued by the MTJ brand to clear the air that they don’t manufacture and sell Naras.

The official statement said, “it has come to our notice that MTJ-Tariq Jameel is being accused of selling drawstrings (Nara) for Rs550 apiece. We would like to clarify that the news is fake.”

We do not manufacture drawstrings (Nara) and our stores and website have never placed any such article for sale. Please beware of spreading false news and help us report those who are involved in this malpractice,” it added.

Screenshots of the doctored image have been circulating on various social media platforms since the MJT brand’s first flagship store opened in Karachi last week.
