‘ZERO Makeup Palette’ owned by Nabila vs. ‘GO Makeup Palette’ owned by Nadia Hussain is the latest top brand feud in town!
A day ago social media in Pakistan saw top makeup artists engaged in a nasty spat over the make-up product launched by each claiming to the original.
Nadia Hussain took to Instagram sharing the screenshot of Nabila’s message to her in which she has accused Nadia of copying the idea for her newly launched ‘Go makeup Palette,’ from Nabila’s ‘Zero makeup palette’.
The message shared in the screenshot of Nabila’s text said, “Don’t you have brain of your own?”
Nadia also accused that Nabila has blocked her on Whatsapp and Instagram after sharing those messages.
“My item may be similar but surely the concept is totally different, she has no copyright on such a design, many many international brands have such similar travel makeup kits, and also that my product itself offers much much more in comparison to her zero makeup kit,” Nadia Hussain wrote.
The model-turned makeup artist then went on to reply, “Firstly, it’s not your copyright item. Secondly, it’s a totally different product anyway.” She added, “You [Nabila] are a brand on your own. Why should it bother you?. No need to be insecure.”
Meanwhile, the award-winning stylist Nabila shared her stance in a social media post.
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness,” Nabila quoted Oscar Wilde talking about a recently launched make-up palette by Nadia Hussain.
