Aamir Khan will be playing ‘Firangi’ in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’

Good news for Aamir Khan fans.  As the most anticipated and all-time big-budget Bollywood film “Thugs of Hindostan” nears its release date, Aamir Khan’s character in the film has been finally revealed.

After sharing the title logo last week, Aamir Khan’s character was shared on social media. Firangi, who can be seen traveling on a horse, seems to be the connection between land and sea which have divided the other thugs.

Earlier in a tweet, Aamir Khan shared about the villain of the film. He captioned the post, “John Clive..not to be confused with Robert Clive..as you can see he is one of the most gentle and kind souls. Loving, caring non violent, and generous. My idol!”.



Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is an upcoming period drama film, based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel “Confessions of a Thug”.

Last week, the other main characters of the film were introduced to the public. Amitabh Bachchan will be playing Khudabaksh, the lord of the sea. Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen as the ace archer Zafira. And Katrina Kaif will be mesmerizing fans being dancer Surayyia!


Known as Mr. Perfectionist, Bollywood star Aamir Khan, will be next seen as Firangi upcoming film “Thugs of Hindostan”. Aamir is sharing screen space with Amitab Bachchan for the first time in this film. Produced by Yash Raj film, this big budget action-adventure film is slated to release on 8th November.
