Frieda Pinto will be essaying the role of girl maned Rashmi in the upcoming film, shared certain BTS clips in her Instagram story providing the viewers a glimpse at her preparations for the character.
Inspired real events, film is based on the story of a 17-year-old girl named Sonia, who risks her life to rescue her sister from a vicious human trafficking network across India, Hong Kong and Los Angeles. Story line traces her journey in pursuit of her sister, where she ends up getting caught in the dark and brutal world of human trafficking.
The other star cast includes, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkummar Rao, Richa Chadha, Anupam Kher, Adil Hussain, Sai Tamhankar, Sunny Parwar, Demi Moore, Mark Duplass and Mrunal Thakur. This film has generated positive reviews after being screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival earlier this year. “Love Sonia” is slated for 14th September cinema release.
