This time pairing up with Varun Sharma, 90’s Bollywood star Govinda is coming back to the big screen with another quirky comedy, “Fry Day”. The trailer of the upcoming comedy film directed by Abhishek Dogra is out.
The trailer of the film shows Varun Sharma as a salesman who is wants to sell purifier to Govinda, who on the other hand is busy setting up his two girlfriends. What will be the story plot of the film? The trailer reveals the typical Govinda element film.
While talking to the media about his upcoming film Govinda said that the making of the “Fry Day” reminded him of the early days of his career.
“When I would do films with small producers and directors, many people would dissuade me saying certain producers would never complete their films. But all those films were made and released, and they turned out to be huge hits, to everyone’s surprise. Working on Fryday felt like déjavu. I realised that the film was being made so well, and I was enjoying myself. I knew that we had a superhit on our hands. The film has such good writing and direction, and my co-actors are so hardworking,” added the 90’s super star.
According to the media reports this film was slated to release earlier in May, this year. As the film was colliding with the release date of Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Raazi’ starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kausha and film makers did not want a clash. So, Fry Day’s release was pushed forward to 25th May and further to May June.
Now the film is finally slated to release on 19th October. Let’s keep our fingers cross for this Abhishek Dogra directorial’s release.
