The much awaited spin-off movie “The Nun”, of the Conjuring universe is now in cinemas finally. It has many ties connected to previous movies. But the film has been getting mixed reviews from the viewers who happen to have seen the first shows of the film. If you haven’t seen it yet in the cinema, this could help making up your mind.

This film takes you back to 1952 as Catholic priest Father Burke (Demián Bichir) and nun in training Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) try to investigate the suicide of a nun at a convent in Romania, along with the help of a farmer called Frenchie (Jonas Bloquet). There is plenty of movement in time back and fro, if you haven’t watched previous movies it will take a while to guess what is happening on the screen.
The demonic nun who made entry in Conjuring2 is back terrorizing people. And the film also jumps forward a couple of decades to show that very footage from the first movie.
If you have plans to watch this film on weekend, this could help to you to decide. Here is how people react on twitter after watching the Nun.

#TheNun unfortunately is nowhere near as good as the first two Conjuring films or Annabelle Creations.. It has a creepy setting and demon to work with but fails to deliver the scares or a likeable cast. If you’ve seen the film already, what did you guys think?

#TheNun needs a prayer. 🙄
4/10 👎— Jord 🎃 (@iluvhorror) September 7, 2018
Horror monopolises the marketplace… #Stree [last Friday] and #TheNun [this Friday] – riding on the positive goodwill of #TheConjuring – are attracting audience in hordes… Of course, #Stree has a generous dose of humour… Horror is the new Hero!

#TheNun was not as good as its marketing campaign. ☹️

Watched #TheNun tonight & I didn't think it was terrible but I definitely think they could've made an awesome movie but instead resorted to cheap jump scares. However I enjoyed it for the most part except the beginning almost bored me to death .

Someone coughed in #TheNun and I swear to God that was the scariest thing in the whole movie.

Cinema last night. The Nun was just made to make you jump as many times as possible in an hour and half. 5/10 #TheNun

#MovieReview – #TheNun is strictly an AVERAGE Movie… Yes it does offer some scary and entertaining moments but not enough to rescue it from a tag of "a tad disappointing". Watch it for Fantastic performances and some thrilling moments. Don't expect much. #TheNunMovie pic.twitter.com/UxJpWKljnN
