Next year is going to be huge for Pakistani cinema, as many high profile films are slated for 2019 release. There comes another interesting release for next year, a zombie horror thriller “Altered Skin”.
Horror thriller is a hard subject to spin into a screen play, if it’s not done skillfully it will turn out sloppy on the screen.
Altered Skin, is about a conspiracy related to virus outbreak in Pakistan. By looking at the trailer, film seems to be a must watch horror-thriller.
Interestingly Juggun Kazim is making her comeback to the silver screen with this film, last film she did was Altaf Hussain’s ‘Khamosh Raho’ starring opposite to Shaan Shahid back in 2011.
The film is written and directed by Adnan Ahmed and star cast include Robin Dunne, Juggun Kazim and Salman Shahid. Produced by Avi Federgreen, the film eyes an early 2019 cinema release date.
Film was screened at the ongoing Blood in the Snow (BITS) Canadian Film Festival 2018 at the Royal Cinema in Toronto, Canada on Friday. So far film is reported to have lots of positive reviews.
It was termed, “a masterpiece”, which is unlike almost any other horror film you will run across.”
