LoveRatri is LoveYatri now!

Upcoming Salman Khan’s production venture Loveratri has been renamed to LoveYatri. The film has been renamed in response to the ongoing controversy it has been facing due to its title. As the previous title Loveratri had a resemblance with the word Navratri, which is a Hindu festival celebrated fornone days.

Taking it to the social media, producer Salman Khan made announcement regarding Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain starrer Bollywood’s upcoming film.

Salman Khan shared a new poster the film, with a caption, “This is not a spelling mistake… #loveyatri #lovetakesover…”

Set in Gujrat, film LoveYatri is slated for October 5th release.

According to the source, quoted by Indian media, the decision to change the name of the upcoming film was taken amid to the recent controversy. As a case was also filed against the film producers for hurting Hindu sentiments for naming it after sacred festival.

The source quoted, “Taking into consideration the concerns from the Censor Board and sensitivity of Karni Sena towards the title of the film, the makers decided to release the film as LoveYatri. Producer Salman Khan decided to opt for a change in title considering the safety and best interest of his audience.”

According to news reports, an Indian court has ordered to file an FIR be filed against Bollywood actor Salman Khan, and seven other actors for hurting Hindu sentiments with their upcoming film “Loveratri”. As per the complaint, the film’s title allegedly hurts Hindu sentiments.
