Filming all over the world has been halted amid the rapidly inclining cases of Coronavirus. Various film makers in Pakistan have also stopped shooting of their ongoing films in response to the social distancing measure taken globally to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Film makers, Nabeel Qureshi, and Fizza Ali Meerza have also delayed the shoot of their upcoming movie Fatman. The decision to halt the production of the movie was publicly announced by Qureshi on Twitter.
“Surrounded by concern regarding COVID-19, We at FilmWala Pictures have made the decision to postpone the shoot of our film “Fatman” We take the health and safety of our crew and actors seriously, In the meanwhile let’s pray for a healthier and safer world,” the film maker tweeted.
Given the sudden increase in the number of corona patients in the country, this seems to be the right course of action by Filmwala pictures.
Fatman, a super hero movie starring Ahmad Ali Butt as the lead actor, was slated for release later this year.
