Parwaaz Hai Junoon cleared for screening by CBFC

After about a day of uncertainty, Parwaaz Hai Junoon seems to be back on track as it got an all clear from Central Board of Film Censors after a full board review. Yesterday, news broke about certain objections being raised by the censor board which led to cancellation of the scheduled premier in Karachi.

There were concerns that the release of the film may get delayed. However chairman Central Board of Film Censors allayed those fears and tweeted that the full board has cleared the film for release as per schedule.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon’s Karachi Premiere Cancelled

This is the 2nd time in as many years that the full board had reversed a decision in a short period of time. Last year Verna went through a similar journey.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon stars Hamza Ali Abbasi, Hania Amir, Ahad Raza Mir and Shaz Khan and is based on the life story of PAF pilots.
