Since 2011, Peter Dinklage is known best for portraying Tyrion Lannister in the HBO’s drama series Game of Thrones and for this he has also received the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series GoT in 2011 and 2015, as well as consecutive Emmy nominations from 2011 to 2016. Now, Dinglage is all set to star in the upcoming fantasy film ‘Rumpelstiltskin’ and this is being termed as a major breakthrough for him after GoT series.
It is being reported that Peter has signed to star in and also co-produce the film. The film’s script is set to be written by Patrick Ness who is best known for Chaos Walking trilogy.
The Rumpelstiltskin movie is reported to be based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale about a girl who is tasked with spinning straw into gold for an evil king that threatens execution. When unable to do so, she makes a deal with an imp named Rumpelstiltskin that she regrets later.
Peter Dinklage has recently achieved a new milestone by getting his 7th Emmy nomination for Game of Thrones, the most nominations for any actor for playing the same character. The movies he has done lately include Avengers: Infinity War as Eitri and in Oscar nominated Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
