Priyanka Chopra is making a screen come back with a worthy project as evident from the teaser of her upcoming film The White Tiger. Starring Priyanka alongside Raj Kumar Rao and Adarsh Gourav, the film is based on a best-seller novel by Arvind Adiga that looks into the classism issue prevalent in India.
“Presenting the first look trailer of #TheWhiteTiger.You believe your destiny is what was bred in you… till you find a way to break free. I’m so proud to be part of this project,” tweeted Pee Cee as she shared the teaser of the film.
“From writer-director Ramin Bahrani, The White Tiger is an adaptation of The New York Times Bestseller & the 2008 Man Booker Prize-Winning novel by Aravind Adiga. WATCH it in select theatres December and on Netflix, January,” added the Fashion actress.
The White Tiger is a story of a filthy rich couple played by Priyanka and Rao, whereas Gourav plays their driver Balram who is conditioned to be a servant throughout his life. Finally realizing his potential, Gourav breaks through the chain of classism and rises above the ranks of those superior to him.
The film will be released in the cinema in December and will make Netflix debut in January.
