Trailer review: Helicopter Eela seems like a good watch!

Kajol’s next appearance on the silver screen is in a role of a mother in Bollywood’s upcoming film “Helicpter Eela”. The trailer was released on the same day when the 35 years’ old actress celebrated her birthday.

From the trailer, the film seems to have a unique story of a single mother played by Kajol and her son.

The trailer begins with Eela, the single mother who misunderstood her son Vivaan played by Riddhi Sen words and joins his college in order to spend more time with him. There is some uneasiness in the mom son relation, which develops into emotional trial as glimpse of story line is provided in the trailer.

Upon her arrival at the collage and experiencing a little discomfort at being called ‘Ma’am’ by her new classmates, Eela clarifies solemnly that she is a student, not a teacher. Her son is not at all pleased with his mother’s plans and attitude inevitably and it creates a rift between them. At the same time Kajol is reminded of her past life and her passion for music.

The official synopsis of the film says about Helicopter Eela that, “She’s here, there and everywhere! What happens when an over-protective but cool mother joins her son’s college to spend more time with him! Watch out for the cool mother-son duo and a twist in the tale as her plans backfire and she suffers a backlash from Vivan for invading his privacy. Will Helicopter Eela manage to salvage her relationship with Vivan and find her calling again?”

Directed by Pradeep Sarkar ‘Helicopter Eela’ is all set to release on 7th September.

Khaani famed Pakistani writer Asma Nabeel will be making her Bollywood debut as a song writer with Helicopter Eela.
